Yorke Peninsula Limestone have in excess of thirty years experience in quarrying and processing Dimension Stone. Yorke Peninsula Limestone is sourced from the southern end of South Australia's Yorke Peninsula.
Limestone from this quarry was first exploited for Sawn Limestone Building Blocks in the early 1950s with products from that period standing the test of time even in harsh exposed coastal environments.
Today Yorke Peninsula Limestone is used throughout Australia.
Yorke Peninsula Limestone provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation qualities at a very competitive price due to low production and embodied energy costs. Together with its visually appealing fossiliferous texture and lighter tones, it's easy to see why this Limestone is rapidly winning market acceptance.
Our limestone is available in Quarry Cut, Diamond Sawn, Split Face, Pressure Blasted or Rock Faced Finishes and in a number of different sizes to suit your requirements.
Yorke Peninsula Limestone is produced as accurately sawn Limestone Blocks in varying sizes for Landscape and Retaining Wall purposes, Building Blocks, Limestone Carving Blocks and Limestone Processor Slabs in sizes of up to two cubic metres.
Our Limestone offers an interesting and varied texture and tone which can only be found in natural products. Additionally it is a cost effective alternative to concrete masonry with large block sizes allowing for rapid construction.
